Hi ,
Just got stuck at one of the interviewer's question,
Is there any such vlan which can be accessed by all the VLAN that are there in the switch under obserbvation?
Pls throw some light ?

Well technically the management VLAN. By default aren't all ports a member of VLAN 1 on most equipment? I'm a bit rusty on the network infrastructure stuff so double check. However I'm pretty sure that's what the interviewer was talking about.

Hi,
By default you cannot access X VLAN from y or Z VLAN. Because each and every VLAN are in different networks.
There is a must for LAYER 3 device for Inter VLAN routing. The network basic concept if two different networks want to talk there is a need for a LAYER 3 device.
