Tom, I dont think the exam expects you to know each register's purpose.

Now, I haven't taken the test for a couple years, but I remember that we went over the Config register quite extensively. Although, I don't remember what was on the exam about it.
That may have changed, but I would still make sure I knew this for the exam.

I don't think the exam goes detailed on the config register.. but I did crack open Todd Lammles study guide (3rd ed) and he went over all the bits. Though I don't ever remember seeing a question related to that..

Speaking of Todd Lemmle, I've been emailing Todd for a couple of days now on his routersim Visualizer product. He's got some new stuff being added to the product that I am looking forward to. He also helped me out with some questions and problems I was having with his program. He was pretty cool about it. Nice to see that, now and then.
