cascading in L3 switch was created by xtrenejl
Hi all,
I have a cisco router 3560 switch and i need to setup a config where i have traffic generator connected to port 1 and port 2 of the switch. Both traffic supposed to map internally to port 3 of swich. Port 3 will then filter out the high priority packets and drop the lower priority packets. It will then be physically connected to port 4 and repeat the above scenario w the next port. The purpose is to load the router with the generator and mirror the last port to a sniffer program to anaylse the received packets. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks in advance.

u can create the ACCESS LISTS on the ports and then configure the sniffer program on the port where u want the management or analysing of packets to be done
