Abt Frame Relay

not so master in frame relay within the provider layer 2 network, As Im only a layer 3 admin, and the provider gives me only the end to end layer 2 frame relay path.

But I have heard within the providers network, they convert the encapsulation to atm, or either hdlc (as a clear channel) to the switch closest to the destination layer 3 device.


Can anyone answer if this is correct??
