hey,
While reading some quality of service, i was wanderng what are the AF and the EF values... While AF represents the DSCP value in decimal-like manner what does the EF do?

EF is expedited forwarding, it is used for VOIP QoS. It corresponds to the DSCP value of 101110, or 46 in decimal notation. AF, assured forwarding values, are not the decimal notation of Diff Serv code points. They correspond to DSCP values, but their number does not, ex. AF11 = DSCP 001010 or 10 (in decimal). The numbers after AF correspond to the class it belongs to (the first number) and its drop probability. Check out this link to see a
