Cisco CCME 8.6 on 3845 Router not working was created by krisarmstrong
First let me state I am not much of a voice expert by no means. I have managed to get the soft phones to register both X-Lite and Zoiper with no problem. However I am unable to get any Cisco Hard phones to register. I have the following phones.
Cisco 7941 SIP
2 Cisco 7942 SCCP I would like to eventually convert these to SIP
2 Cisco 7960 SCCP
Is my understanding correct in that ephone-dn is for SCCP while voice register is SIP??
The SCCP phones boot up but do not look as though they contact the call manager as they have a 2000 extension and as you can see from my config everything is 4xxx. The SIP phone 7941 Boots up requests the term41.default.loads. And I believe its getting it. I did a packet capture as well. Which is attached.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is for a lab enviroment

So it looks like I am missing some files? I did run a create profile. Are these files created at that time or?

krisarmstrong,
You are correct - ephone-dn is used by SCCP while the voice-register section is the the SIP phones.
While I believe I see a problem, I'd like you to verify the following:
1) Ensure CME provides DHCP services for your IP Phones and that ' option 150 ip 10.250.0.57' is correct.
2) Ensure the TFTP server file statements are correct and that the files actually exist in your CME's flash.
3) Make sure that the 'Telephony Services' section has the correctly configured "ip source-address". I noticed that you have " 10.250.0.249 port 5080" however your DHCP service has 10.250.0.57. I'd also suggest you leave the port to the standard 2000, at least for your testing phase.
If any of the above do not work, then proceed with the reset of your SCCP phones. We've got this covered in great depth here: www.firewall.cx/cisco-technical-knowledg...ipphone-upgrade.html
Let us know of your results!
Good luck!
Chris.
