Amazing. What are Mentos though - some sort of sweet? Don't think I've seen them here in the UK. I feel I ought to know so I can avoid drinking Coke if I ever eat one...

Shame on you, of course you can get Mento's in the UK. They are a soft chewy mint type thing. They are very nice, but a little bit hard to come by. I think I saw them in Costco once !!

c'mon gentlemen, you can get mentos from literally any shop in uk, even all the gas stations have racks full of these mints on display.
and about the combination of coke and mentos, yes it is explosive, i tried it in my bathtub!!!
