15 Meg HDD - $2500!

Sad part is; I remember these and had them in my wish list!
Thinking of twin HDD, 30Megs, whoa buddy, watch out!

Prompts vivid recollections of the awe of upgrading my first PC - single 5.25 inch floppy, 8086 CPU, 256K (yes, K) of RAM and 1K monochrome graphics card - to twin floppies and (gasp) to the FULL 640K of memory!!! And then, oh transports of joy, I scrounged a COLOUR VGA card and 8-inch IBM monitor!
And yet it did a fine job of word processing (output via IBM golfball printer was as good as a typewriter), spreadsheet, database, presentation graphics and even a few games - all MSDOS based and no Windows in sight!
Ah, the simple life...
