Another new wireless specification

Apparently a company in Florida is developing a potential Wimax killer . If this does what they claim, wireless may become even more ubiquitous than it already is. I'm most interested in seeing if it can overcome interfence from the 900 MHz band of the spectrum.

Sounds interesting if it makes it to market. The problem might come if it becomes popular as the congestion in the unlicensed and unregulated 900MHz band would cause chaos with these units everywhere
