Unfortunately Sose hasn't written a book on Subnetting yet, however the material here should be able to cover you.

There are 6 pages of some really good examples and analysis of subnetting under Networking> Protocols> Internet Protocol-Subnetting> Subnetting.

That should help you understand the basics and we'll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have after that.
