Hmmmmmm. Let's see if this works. I have just installed a SuSe 9.2 box. I would like to set it up as a server. However, I do not understand the language. Is there a site that can explain the Linux language in human language. It seems that there is a lot of typing to set up different stuff. I am even having problems extracting and installing things. It's not like using WinZip or RAR. I have all the manuals but, it seems that there has to be a better way for the SuSe newbe to get started. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, there is no linux language, its just the operating system. Most of what you're trying to do should be fairly easy through your desktop environment (KDE I suppose)...

As far as installing things go, what type of files are you trying to install?
