CCNA question was created by pothead
hi...i just had a quick question...for the CCNA...are we supposed to know about the 1900 switch and cabling or not? Cuz iI've looked at several books, and some dont put any emphasis on the 1900 switches (just the 2950) while some go into detail on how to ocnfigure it...the same thing of cabling standards...some books dont even mention it..while some go into detail about it...so are we supposed to know it or not??

I think that in the current version of the cert you only need to know about the configuration and etc. of 2950 but the best way to find out is to look at what the cisco press self-study says..... When i sat for the exam i did the simulations with 2950 configurations. Check it out and inform us of what you found out.
