i have read carefully earlier topics also.
I am in doubtfull situation as i have opted to go for security certification after my engineering(comp sci) and CCNA as i am fresher(three months) and total new to security.

I am not going for CEH as it doesnt stands differently in market like other certifications .....Can anybody please help me which other certificaitons are gud for the newbie dont tell me CISSP/CCIE this requires strong security fundamentals that i dont have rite now.

I need to start with a entry level certifications to gain entry in security field.

Secureall,

The Security + is most probably what you are after - a good introduction to security with a wide coverage in nearly every aspect within the IT sector.

If I remember correctly, TFS has successfully completed his Security+ certification - perhaps he could give us a bit more information about it ?
