Was just wondering, does one specialised in Networking with just a CCNA certification, but without a degree, have any sort of chance or opportunity to be employed into any company in Nigeria? If so, how do I go about it, and if you can help, will you let me contact you?
Moreover, I'll just like to know, does a CCIE without a degree stand any chance of employment in Nigeria, and I'm talking about Telecom companies, banks, or the Oil and Gas Sector?
Need ur opinion guys; honestly and sincerely?

Bros i want to speak from the Nigerian point of view the percentage an IT pro will get a good job in Nigeria is so low (like 45%) they don't value the IT pros here.
They feel u have to have a BSC, etc.
But if u are focused and u can get to write ur CCNP and/or CCIE then u should head for mtn. or the arab speaking countries cos they value IT pro..

I have a BSC(Hnos) Network Computing and now I am studying for my CCNA, I learning more with the CCNA than in my studies at the University, however BSC is a degree and you learn more things than just routing, cabling, etc...

I am a practicing network engineer in nigeria. Your problem now is that you have already programmed your mind to used a ccna to get a highpaying job . know the job very well if you stand alone you can earn more than what any bank or telecom firm will pay you.
You can execute a 1.5 million naira cabling job in a week
but if you get a high paying job fine
improve your skill
knowledge + know how = skill, skill repeated over and over again is equal to expertise, and expertise will bring money
