Hey, im studying the CCNA myself, id just like to point out that i dont think you can really say what you need to remember going by what other people failed to remember as that is really down to the individual. some people just remember specific things easier than others.
Your time would be better spent working out what you dont remember, for example, run through the chapters in the books, test yourself using the end of chapter tests and the on cd tests and what you dont remember, flick back revise and sit the mocks again.

once you're confident and you think you can take on the finals, get a couple of exam prep guides and mocks, run through those too for extra confidence. it will help drill it all in.

Good Luck!

Hi all,
i have gone through all the comments mentioned here. if you want to start from the basics of networking you are in the right place. just go through the modules in this website. you will get a strong base. To be frank i built my basics through this website. the notes helped me a lot in my interview. now am working as an application engineer for a VOIP company. and recently CISCO changed the exam curriculum also. they included the wireless and security into it...
Try to get the latest books 6 th edition. if possible buy the CISCO press book itself.its very easy to go through it.Not like sybex books

I cleared my CCNA exam last year with 1000/1000 marks.
guyzz CCNA is a very good cert not just to get a job but also it improves ur knowledge in a great deal.

it took almost 3 months for me to prepare. it all depends on ur grasping capapbilities. if u have already attended ccna training and need to brush up the n collect some CCNA videos like trainsignal, cbt nuggets which are really very good.

job prospects remeber this more then ur certs its the knowledge and experience which matters the most
