Hey netwo,
First of all start from the articles of firewall.cx where you will learn about basic and advanced networking.
If you want books for ccna I would recommend the books from sybex and ciscopress. More specifically:
Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide, by Todd Lammle, Sybex Press
CCNA Certification Library (CCNA Self-Study, exam #640-801), by Wendell Odom, CiscoPress
I have used the latter and found it very useful when preparing for the CCNA exam

To add to The_Berzerker's
Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide, by Todd Lammle, Sybex Press is the same book i used for my CCNA.
Good book and also serves as a field reference book for future.
Good luck!
