Hi ,

I am pretty new to this field.
I am basically rfom a call center background.
I hvae been working with Dell hardware for about 1 year.
I have completed my CCNA and am about to go ahead with my CCNP
would you tell me how are the Job oppurtunities for people like me?
it would be very helpful for me to get a clear understanding of where I stand right now.

Regards
Priya

With the knowledge that you have obtained from your CCNA you could work as a network engineer or something relevant.
I would suggest working in the networking field for some time before moving on to the CCNP as you will need hands on experience to get your CCNP
Hope I helped,
Cheers

Replied by LBishop on topic maybe this will help
I am currently pursuing my CCNA and have been told by others that I used to work with, two guys that are both CCNP certified told me that the best experience one can get is by working at a Cisco NOC. If you are already working in a call center environment, this should be the next step in your Cisco career, you will gain lots of valuable experience. However, the drawback is the pay. I am not sure what your pay scale is, but I know that I would be taking a pretty sizable paycut in order to work at a NOC.

This is just info that was passed on to me.
