CCIE vs Job Dilemma ?!

just curious about what is the salary for a ccie dude?? monthly or anual??
apreciate if anyone knows and answers.

I think the average in the U.S. is about $100,000/year. Of course, I've heard that instructors who travel often make well above that. A guy who instructed a basic switching and routing class told me he makes ~ $300,000, plus he got a BMW car as a bonus, and he travels the world. But he also has a ton of certs (but not the CCIE, just CCNP). I'd go for this career path if it wasn't for the constant travel.

havohej it really depends on the country you live in, but one thing is for sure, CCIE get a good salary

no way berzerker, here in my country a ccie salary looks like a a president salary, thats why here theres only one ccie, and working at the states,I Hope I would be the second one.

I would also agree to take the NE job and work your way to CCIE.

Now if I could just get off my arse and take my CCNA exam............

I was in a Deep Dilema, I am the John in the Scenario.

I was`nt sure what to do, I will know the Job Status in a Week time, I am now actually preparing for CCNP (BSCI) and also Refering TCP/IP Routing Volume I by Jeff Doyle.

I have decided to work about 1 year, get my CCNP then Think of CCIE.

I live in India.
