CWNA question was created by The_Berzerker
Hey guys!
I'm thinking about sitting for the CWNA (Certified WIreless Network Administrator) exam. Is it worth paying 210 euros just for the exam or should I choose another cert, i could take two MS exams for almost the same price.
My concern is if the cwna will count when i apply for a new job.
Cheers

hi The_Berzerker
i think it would definitely count as a plus whenever you are applying for a job as it is also a world known certification. also you can not deny the fact that the wireless industry is slowly taking the lime light and have done some tremendous improvements in its standards. from 802.11b to 802.11g and now the most awaited 802.11n which would offer greater bandwidth that g could provide.
i am also taking this cert probably next year as i have already started reviewing it now

I too think that this is a very worthy cert. I plan on setting for it later this year. Also remember that WiMax 802.16 is on the horizon and once we have a 30 mile range on wireless it will take off like wildfire!

The next big step in network industry is wireless. its def worth trying for, i def want to go for it but i have to do some other certs before i go for that.
