I'm going to be starting community college next semester. Now, I want to know what I should major in. I know when I transfer to a four year college I want to major in Network Security. But, at the 2 year I'm going to, they only offer General Information Technology and Network Technology. Which of those two would be the best for transfering to a four year college?

Doesn't matter, what does matter is you should look at the four year school that you are going to be going too, and see which major ahs the most transferable classes to your long term major goal. Does that make sense? If the IT 2 year has more usable classes for your 4 year in security go with it. There is nothign worse then taking extra classes because of lack of planning. Take the time to meet with a counseler if you can't figure it out from the fou year school and two year school hope this helps.

Thanks
