Hello all,
I go to a special science and technology school in La Crescenta, CA. We use Novell, I don't know why, but I am assuming because the whole district uses novell. The ETIS, essentially our IT department, has setup BorderManager at our school. We also have many many cisco routers all over the place; about 300 computers total. Whenever I boot up into a live-cd linux I can never surf the web. I am assuming that there is a Proxy setup somewhere, most likely BorderManager is a proxy as well. I can't get the proxy settings because I am not Admin on the systems, and I am not very familiar with proxies anyway. Does anyone know what i could do to get through the proxy? I have a novell account and all. Also does anyone know the legality of performing a DoS at my school? :lol:
