Trouble in Authorization in CACS TACACS+

Hello Guys,

i am using PIX 501 and was able to authenticate the users defined in CACS for windows provided by Cisco.
The version of the CACS is 2.4 and is for windows NT. Beacuse of this i have trouble in giving Authorization to the Users after authentication.

The books say they are using CACS version 3.0 and they click on shared profile components in the CACS window.

Unfortunately the Option of shared profile components is not available in CACS version 2.4.

Please tell me how can i do authorization using this version.

Have you tried Cisco's website for technical documentation that might resolve the problem you're experiencing ?

I would highly suggest you look for a newer version since you'll surely find more support for it and advanced features which were unheard of, back when v2.4 was released
