Checkpoint Firewall was created by Mintofoxburr
If I have my Internal LAN 192.168.1.0 using HIDE NAT behind the firewall's External interface and then I want to make a Server on that Lan available through STATIC NAT.
One is this an option can it be done if it is already using HIDE NAT.
How does it know how to reply to a request
I know it should really be placed in the DMZ, but what if this is not an option.

You can't have an object in a hide nat and a stoic nat simultaneously. I f you cannot put it in a dmz (although this is the preferred option) then modify your range so that x amount of ips will be behind the hide nat and x amount available for static nat. This may give you less ips for hide and more than you need for static but beggars can't be choosers!
Hope this helps!

Hide NAT and Static (Destination) NAT is possible since the NG verison of Check Point. You need to configre the NAT functions manually. For more information check out
