How to reset switch password?

i use baystack 410 24 t from Nortel company..
forget the password..
do u have any method to reset the password?

Doesn't seem to be alot of information about resetting the password - have you tried the nortel website ?

I am having some trouble reseting a friend of mine's wireless router. Both her and her roommate got there email and messenger services hacked. They have a Netgear MR814 802.11b Cable/DSL Wireless Router. But the router didn't do them much good since they didn't change the manufacturer password.
I tried to reset the router and access it using the manufacturer username and password. I am not able to get access to the router. I tried different reset methods from holding the reset button for 20 seconds to holding it for 15secs then power cycling the router. But I am still not able to get access to the router.

The manual should mention the exact reset sequence (for mine i.e. I think I need to press 5 times the button or sth)

still no luck. The tech at Netgear said that the reset button could be broken. But I told him I don't think the button is broken since I get activity from the lights on the front of the router when I reset it. He says, "the lights are irrelevant sometimes to what is happening on the inside of the router" I asked him what exactly is the point of the lights on the front of a router. He said "when everything is working the lights will show you this and also gives the router an appealing functional look" :shock: WHAT!?!?...lol :lol:
After that last statement I knew this guy was just winging it. And now I am stuck with this nice router(w/ the cool lights on the front that blink for no reason when you press the reset button :lol: ) and can't get access to it.
