Norton Internet Security 2004 & VPN

Norton Internet Security 2004 & VPN was created by DT
I have set up a VPN connection from my XP machine at home to the Draytek router in the office. Once connected, I can log into the router from Internet explorer. However, I cannot see any other machines. If I turn off NIS I can see them. Does anyone know how to configure NIS properly to allow me to leave it on but able to browse the office network ? (I've tried setting a range of trusted IPs - 192.168.1.0 to 50 for instance but to no avail). Cheers.

There is a wizard in the same area as the trusted IP schema (dont have it open right now to referance) that will auto setup your LAN NIC. Do you have XP's firewall turn on as well? if so turn it off and reboot. Reboot even after modifing NIS.

Thanks for your help. Not using XP firewall.
I have sorted it out by adding a range of IPs as Trusted which didn't seem to work before.
Many thanks.

Hey DT, could you please specify in a little more detail what you mean by you cannot see the other machines.. does this mean file sharing, straight up ip connectivity.. or what ?
Have you tried setting up a packet sniffer and doing some protocol analysis to figure out where you're getting blocked ?
