Are we talking about Linux firewall scripts, FW appliace feature or a software called Firewallscript? Something else?

sorry for the incomplete question!
i mean the feature of fw appliances like cisco pix or asa.
& as u have the idea about the linux scripts also. can you please give a brief about that also! :)

FYI there is no feature that I am aware of on the ASA/PIX devices called firewall script or scripting.

The access is controlled with the Access Control List (ACL) where you write access policies. Also, those devices do support Dynamic Access Policies, which might be something you were refering to.

A firewall script usually means software based firewall on unix machines.
