Netgear ADSL router to PIX was created by sh500
Hi all,
I've just taken over a small network setup:
We have about 20 users who connect to a 2MB ADSL line. The original router Efficient Networks 5861 (provided by a company now gone bust) had a power failure. This router was also locked down to just show 'connect' and 'disconnect' on the web interface.
Anyway we now have a Netgear DG834 router (until we find a more permanent solution). I've configured it for the internet, but am having problems to communicate to our Cisco PIX.
I have details of all IP addresses (for the router and PIX). The old router was working fine going through the PIX then to the switches and end users. So I am guessing, I am missing something on the Netgear router that is stopping it connecting to the PIX (a static route perhaps?)
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
