hello, does ASA 5505 allows you to ssh from it? I can't ssh from my ASA 5505 firewall to my 1800 series router. Does ASA 5505 has ssh installed on it? how can I verify that?
I can only kill an ssh session, but is there a way to install or activate ssh in order to let me ssh from my firewall to my other routers?
note that I can ssh from my machine to my ASA 5505. I can ssh to it but can not ssh from it to other machines.
thanks in advance

Easy. You can't. Cisco did this with an eye on security. So if the ASA gets comprimised they cant telnet/ssh from the ASA to another device.

hi r0nni3, thanks for your quick reply. But is there a work around solution? like license activation? I heard about 3DES/AES license but not sure if it activates the ssh.
thanks again.
thanks again.

3DES and AES are encryption standards used in VPN connections. There is really no way to SSH/telnet from an ASA to another device.
