that traffic wasnt encrypted then ;) If its encrypted the ISP cant find out unless they have the key wich the traffic was encrypted with

Unless the ISP has been hacked, I'd tend to agree with r0nni3 that the ISP has the least part to do to make more or less secure.

Yes i have but decrypting enctyped traffic takes a long time since you have to brute-force it. (unless you have the key it was encrypted with). And since practically no one logs into their bank account for over a day the decrypting tools are useless.
And on the downloading thingy, even if the provider would want to check what you download would they really bother to take a couple of days to decrypt some packets ?

dont forget we are talking about internet banking on a banking site. malicious hackers can stay for more than a week trying to decrypt captured data, plus how about an inside help from the ISP

Yeah but every time you log into your bank account you need to generate a code with something like a RSA token generator right ? I know i have to do this with my bank so brute-forcing the encrypted packets wont work unless you just have a username and password and no external device for extra security.
