One Host Multiple IPs? was created by Maskkkk
My Boss says he wants to setup a Linux router so that his two T1 lines both forward requests to the same server (IIS).
Is this possible/a good idea?

No doubt you can have multiple IPs on the same host. Sure. One IP for each WAN/LAN interface. To facilitate both T1 lines you need to setup "Load Balancing" on the Linux router such that the load is distributed between the two lines.
By the way, You can even have multiple IPs on the same interface (tried this on windows, almost sure it works on linux).

Load balancing between two T1 lines on the same machine? What good does that do?
If they both go to the same machine, I don't understand why this is beneficial.
Thank you,
Maskkkk

One T1 line gives you 1.544Mb/s Max
Two T1 lines gives you 3.088Mb/s Max
As far as I know, load balancing will allow you to reach the 3.088Mb/s.
