IP Cop dynamic IP but use alternate DNS severs? was created by Darkk
I am wondering what the right way to set up IP Cop to use alternate DNS servers is?
I have a cable Internet conenction that DHCPs IP, DNS, and gateway info from the cable modem. Currently IP Cop is set to use this info on the red interface.
What I want to do and not have overwritten on an IP Cop reboot or red DHCP action, is to use alternate DNS servers other than those DHCP'd from my ISP and use them with IP Cop's DNS caching. What is the best way to accomplish and manage this?
My ISP has recently decided to re-direct failed DNS lookups ala Verisign's SiteFinder attempt a while back and I want to avoid this redirect.
Thanks in advance.

SSH to your IPCOP or login at the console and type in "setup". Select the "Networking" option where you will be able to specify the DNS settings.
