That's great.

It feels good (and much relief) when you've struggled on a problem and then it finally gets resolved.

BTW, what ended up being the problem?

Thanks,

Tom

The problem was I didn't have my own box pointed at my DNS server. But now I have another problem...my one friend told me that static IPs are a bad thing. (I don't think I believe him) Something about using it in the future with alot of other computers on the network. I don't know what he's talking about. I think it's because if you do static IPs too much you have to write down the ones that are statically assigned. But I only have like 4 computers on the network and next semester it's going to drop down to 2. He told me something about I should learn about BIND. What the heck is that? I think it has something to do with domain names doesn't it? And there's a tutorial on it on here if I'm not mistaken. Maybe I oughta learn that.
