The INTERNET is connected through 8080 port. Using this port no, i am easily browsing. How do I block an website such as "
www.example.com
" using iptables command? In windows environment, how do I ensure my PC's security? I look forward to hearing your suggestion.

Just to clarify your question, rhythm.
What OS does your client machine run?
Do you have a separate proxy server?
You are better off implementing "domain name blocking" in something like Squid rather than iptables.

i agree with Dalight with the things you have to clarify, i have a squid and dansguardian running as my content filtering in a separate PC, so all the PCs passes through this cannot access porno and other unwanted sites. it works well .
