IPCop won't let me access Blue Net from Green

Hello,

I just installed IPCop last night, installed like a dream! It's comforting to have a real firewall in place. I'm still something of a Linux newbie even though I've used it off-and-on for more than 10 years.

Here is my setup:

- Running IPCop 1.4.10
- RED nic is the Epia Mobo's Built-in Rhine II
- BLUE NIC is a Netgear USB 10/100 dongle using a Realtek chipset (192.168.0.3) This is connected directly to a Netgear WGT624U 4-port/802.11b/g for my WAP.
- Green is a Belkin USB 10/100 dongle with a Pegasus chip in it (192.168.0.2)
BLUE is connected directly to a netgear 624U b/g router

(I know, that's a lot of USB dongles...)

So, I can access the RED net from GREEN, but I can't access BLUE from GREEN. I tried pointing IE on my XP machine (192.168.0.109) to the WAP (192.168.0.1), however it won't connect. Next I tried pinging it, still no joy. I then connected the WAP to the GREEN net just to make sure it's still working, and it connected. I just can't connect to it when it's on the BLUE network. Any ideas?

Lot's of TIA

Oh, I probably should have mentioned, that I haven't yet attempted to run a computer on the BLUE net (laptop through wi-fi or otherwise) as of yet

Welcome to firewall.cx, plethora.

By default, you should be able to access any of the interfaces from the GREEN network.

I would advise you to place all your interfaces on different subnets e.g.

RED 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
GREEN 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
BLUE 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.0

Let us know how you get on.
