I picked up a Cisco PIX 501 Firewall off ebay to mess with and learn some Cisco commands. I have noticed that when I move the firewall physically, the leds flicker and the VPN led turns on and off. Since it is used, it more then likely was dropped or something.
My question is how good is Cisco about taking routers, switchs or in my case this PIX501 Firewall and fixing them? I would really like to get this thing up and running as soon as possible.

You'll probably have to go through a registered reseller, Cisco usually only deals directly with very large customers for matters like that. Cisco.com has a directory of resellers.

Since you bought it off ebay - you really can't know if its an item gone missing from a Cisco customer or partner.
If your comfortable with screwdrivers, I'd suggest you open the box up and take a close look (don't go touching everything on the board and keep yourself grounded at all times!).
From your problem description, I'd say some power connection or soldering point has issues - more likely easily fixable by most people with basic electronic knoweldge.
Cheers,
