Blocking unwanted sites!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any software where i can block Unwanted sites and block adults sites (porn sites).

Hi,

As a quick fix, you can do it through your internet browser. Click on Tools, then internet options. You will see a tab marked security, and you can add know sites that you want to block in the Restricted sites tab.

For a long term fix, there are lots of pieces of software that will let you do this. Try doing a google search and see what comes up. However, I'm sure some of our more learned friends will be able to provide something

I have tried those options pal, but i want some third part tools to contorol this sites, so plz help in getting those tools i have even tried installing some software which i got it through google. but not 2 good to handly so plz tell some freeware software.

i doubt if you would get any software for free. even net nanny and other such softwares come for a price. but still try searching on google. you might get something for free. on the other hand, keep you eye on this forum. i am sure someone will come up with some software reference for your need.

..or you could try and install an open source firewall like ipcop and the like and create certain rules blocking specific sites or ip addresses..
