Greeting geeks

i have typical problem, before i explain the problem, i would like to tell the senerio. we have many offices accross the region, interconnected through wan links, we typically have the class C address.

My office ip range address start with 192.168.52.0
My office router ip is 192.168.52.1 (eth0) & 192.168.1.105 (serial0)

Corporate office ip range starts with 192.168.50.0
Corporate office router ip is 192.168.1.100 (serial3)

1) Now the problem is. I am not able to access internet through IC Share machine which is in the corporate office (ip 192.168.50.50)

2) What would be gateway if i want to access the ic share machine?

At present my system ip as 192.168.52.25 gateway as 192.168.52.1 (router @ my office) if i change the gateway to ip 192.168.50.50 (IC share) to access internet i am not able to connect any of my corporate system nor the to internet.

Please help.

Your gateway setting on your machine is correct at 192.168.52.1 since that is the device that gives you access 'outside' of your office network. If I understand this correctly, the IC Share machine at your head office is the 'gateway' out to the Internet. But it doesn't sound like this machine is advertising this fact in any way so your inter-site routers do not know that this route to the outside world exists.
A way round it might be to add a static default gateway (default route) on the head office router to point to the IC Share machine

As far as I understand, the internet connection is given only to the IP address 192.168.50.50. This might be your proxy server or a standalo ne PC with internet connection.

One work around is that you try & change your PC's internet browsers proxy IP address to 192.168.50.50 with port setting 80 or 8080. If the internet connection is shared on that IC share PC then you will be able to browse internet from your PC after this setting change.
