Hi,I've got a network with static ip addresses in the range 172.21.2.1 to 172.21.2.50 and the subnet of 255.255.255.0.I would like to connect the ap to the network so the clients that connect through the access point can connect to the internet and other shared resources on the server.i connect to the internet through a proxy server. The ap has an ip address of 192.168.69.50 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. The clients that use the wlan can see each other when i use 192.168.x and 255.255.255.0,but how can i set up this wlan to connect to a wired lan, security is not an issue at the moment coz this is just my home lab.
Thanks in advance

If you are going to stick to the ips that you mentioned then the access point has to connect either to a router or to a switch with routing capabilities in order to route traffic from the 192.168.69.0 subnet to 172.21.2.0 subnet. In my opinion there are two options:
1. Put everything in a 192.168.x.0 subnet connecting everything with a switch.
2. Set up a router (using linux or unix) (IPCop would be good for what you want)
Hope i helped,
Cheers
