In that case, share the folder containing the program data and give the "students" security group the appropriate permissions (probably read/write/create) to the share.

Thanks a lot DaLight. One more question for now.
How about the printer? Can I make the server a print server as well? That way I will connect the printer directly to the server and share it.
Or is there a better way so that all the computers can use t his one printer and probably install it from the desktops.

Best to make the server a print server and share the printer from the server. If you do that the client PCs will pick up the driver directly from the server.

Just a small hint. no need to exclude the devices that DON'T fall into your DHCP scope. So your 2 laptops, servers, printers and access points seem like they don't fall into your DHCP scope and don't need exclusion statements which I don't see in the config but you do mention excluding them.
