Using an Access List with DHCP was created by kevinbroga
Could anyone tell me the syntax for using an Access List while using a DHCP server. I have narrowed my problem down to the computer is not renewing address for itself, it can release addresses. Any help would be helpful
Thanks
Thanks

I want to use an access list to limit access to a specific group of addresses. We have DHCP running but when the access list is applied, We can release addresses, but not renew address for that group. I don't know why it is doing that. Let me know if that helps.

Actually I don't need help, the router we are using, used ports 67 and 68 for DHCP, we were using 546 and 547. Since chaning that number, the workstations can release and renew their addresses.
