If you can reach the web interface and can ping the router it seems strange that you can't reach telnet..

First things first...
1. Check that telnet is enabled
2. Check that you haven't got any filtering (access lists etc) on the telnet interfaces
3. If this is a Cisco router it wont let you login over the VTY's unless you specifically give it a 'login' on the vty 0 4 lines...*scratches head*.. yeah....

:)

Hi,

My router is as follow:

Detail | Description
Product ZIO INB3040SR
Processor ARM7(Conexant CX84200)
WAN 10/100 BASE-T(RJ45)
LAN 10/100 BASE-T(RJ45)
Flash ROM 512 Kbytes
Buffer Memory 4M

And it was made in Korea. I can only read a litlte Korean, and translate in to English!

This is backside of my router:

You can see that there isn't any Auxiliary or Console line!

As I don't have experience in configuration in http interface, can anybody give an instant instruction of this??

Thanks,

Hi, If you just have a basic broadband router then I don't think you can use command line, meaning you can't telnet. My netgear broadband router don't have this option, although I would like to own one which has.

Can anyone recommend one at a reasonable price ? Thanks
