Speed test program was created by tfs
I am trying to check the speed between a couple of machines at work. I want to be able to send some large files and have the program tell me what the up and down speeds are.
Anyone know of a program for windows that would do this?
I assume it would be a program that would load on both machines and talk back and forth.
Thanks

A simple Windows program named DUMeter located at
www.dumeter.com/
would do the trick here, it will only need to be installed on one of the 2 PCs as it monitors both up and down speeds. Another program is NetLimiter, even though, as the name implies, it limits bandwidth to specific Applications via their respective PIDs and then sub-catergorises them via IP Addresses, it also displays, in KBps, the current speed of the particular transfer. The catergorisation implementation enables you to rule out any other Applications on your PC using the bandwidth, so this may be a big plus over DUMeter.
