CISCO VPN Client With CISCO VPN Ipsec was created by antonismor
Hello all
I have a vpn on my cisco 1841 with IPsec
when a pc with windows 7 or server with windows server 2008 r2 connects on my 1841 everything goes fine but when I don't have traffic between my 1841 and my current vpn session from windows 7 or windows serve rthe vpn connection drops
Please help me I don't want to to drop the call I want to connect for ever and also if for some reason drops to redial and connect automatically thank you for your time

Antonis,
My understanding is that your VPN IPSec Clients disconnect from the VPN to your 1841 after inactivity. Can you tell us after how long the VPN will drop after the client being idle ?

Dear Friend Chris
After 2Hour And 32 Minites of traffic innactivity the vpn season drops if i ping the vpn client from another pc from me from the side of the 1841 for about 10 hours the vpn stays up because there is a ping all the time

Antoni,
Can you post your 1841 configuration so we can take a look? Normally the client shouldn't disconnect like the way you've described.
p.s Change your passwords and any public IPs shown in the configuration.
