Resetting an ASA 5510

Hi all,

I acquired a few surplus ASA's here at work, and need repurpose them. Unfortunately, I do not know the usernames or passwords. Can someone tell me how to reset it to factory default without knowing the usernames or passwords for enable mode?

That should be what you need.

Thanks Nevins, but the following worked:

confreg 0x40
boot
(once rebooted)
config-reg 0x11
wr mem

It cleared the passwords for me.
