How do I make A VPN connection wireless? Anyone have any idea how I would go about making my University internet connection, which I get through an ethernet VPN connection, wireless? I have a netgear DG834Gv3 wireless router and am curious to know if it would be possible to somehow put the VPN connection through it to have it wireless?

If, as I suspect, you access your VPN by running a client on your computer/laptop then it should work just as well over a wireless link as a wired one. As long as you have connectivity to the internet, and hence the ability to reach the University's servers, then just give it a go.
can you write few reasons Why would you need VPN for university from home.
