Network Proposal

Hello,

I would like to send a proposal for a small business. They have the following at the moment

+- 5 PC's
+- 3 Laptops
1 Network Printer
dsl Internet

All the PC's and Laptops connect wirelessly. they are on a workgroup.They all use windiws xp and other utilities like acrobat reader,winzip,etc.

I would like to propose a wired because they have some connectivity issues with the wireless connection, I would also like to propose a sbs server, setup active directory and file server, they pop emails from the isp so no need for exchange.I was thinking of using external thinking of using external HDD for backup.

This will be my first proposal, could you please point me in the right direction on how to do this. Anything else i would have to change on the network setup.

Are you asking for help with making the proposal itself, of with the technical aspects? Or is it both?

It is both but the most important is the technical part.

hey defsoul i em don't know what exactly u really want but Uncle Chris has em some stuffs for us on this site. He prepared some quotation and documents as well as visio shots i am very sure it's to guide some g33ks around here in preparing a quote / proposal.

What you want will surely be there. Both technically and em a real guide to preparing a proposal. Those documents helped me alot. So you benefit from the bountiful harvest. (Remember the harvest is plentiful.... but the workers are few)
