extended access -list

can anybody tell me why i cant access to a specific host with a shared files on it resides on subnets 172.16.24.x from other host reside on 172.16.8.x ping ICMP is sucessfully bi directional. my setup is router on a stick intervlan routing.

Since ping is successful between the two hosts, it would seem like a firewall/access-list issue. What happens if you turn off the firewall on the shares host? Also, are you able to access the shares from other hosts in the same subnet (172.16.24.x) ?

try with checking your access lists on router between these hosts....
