HELP ME URGENT

HI DEAR BUDDIES ...I HAV A PROBLEM YAAR.
IS THERE ANY OPTION TO CONNECT A BROADBAND TELAPHONE LINK CABLE OF RJ11 DIRECTLY IN TO THE ETHERNET PLUG OF RJ45 FEMALE...BECAUSE MY TELEPHONE WIRE IS IN 2 PIN RJ11 ..HERE BROADBAND MODEM IS HAVING ONLY EYHERNET PLUGS NOT THE TELEPHONE JACK PLUGS.........
OR ELSE ANY OTHER OPTION OF CONVERTERS FOR RJ11 CABLE PIN TO RJ45 ETHERNET JACK..
OR CAN I CONNECT THE RJ11 PIN DIRECTLY IN TO RJ45 ETHERNET PLUG...
PLZ HELP ME FRIENDS ...IM IN INDEED CASE ......................

There is probably no way of directly connecting your broadband telephone cable directly to a host computer (unless the computer has an onboard/installed adsl modem-router.

Since your broadband connection is via your telephone cable, it has to be adsl, and you will first of all need a filter to split the voice and data signals. The voice part goes to the phone, and the data part then can be passed over to a adsl modem-router to convert the signals to ethernet frames or even usb formet. It's only then you can attach a host computer to get an internet connection.

No, you cannot plug a RJ11 jack into a RJ45 socket, size does matter, and the RJ11 is smaller with less grooved connectors on it.

Your broandband is probably ADSL as Arani suggested. Or is it not?

An RJ11 jack WILL FIT in an R45 socket, but the opposite is NOT true, try it your self. However, even if it fits, that does NOT mean it will work. ADSL and Ethernet are two totally different technologies.

Briefly, What you need is an ADSL splitter/filter as Arani said (the ISP usually provides this if they sold you the modem). And you will need a ADSL modem/router. I suggest you check your modem's manual, first make sure it's a DSL or ADSL. Then make sure that it has a WAN port. As far as I know, most ADSL WAN ports are RJ11. If your ADSL modem has a RJ45 WAN port then give it a try, the RJ11 jack should fit in. but I've never tried an ADSL modem with an RJ45 WAN port. I only saw it once in a website.

Just one more question, you said your broadband modem did not have any RJ11 sockets, are you sure they gave you an ADSL modem and not a cable modem?
