subnetting help was created by net_usealex
hi all! great website i've stumbled across here! i have a mini project at school but i always get confused when subnetting still so some help would be greatly appreciated!

i have to subnet 172.116.0.0 to a minimum of 3 subnets so obviously i will go with 4. i used an online calculator but i want to make sure its correct.
i have my first subnet as 172.116.0.1 - 172.116.63.254 the second as 172.116.64.1 - 172.116.127.154. am i on the right track? i have to put this into packet tracer utilizing 2 servers. any feedback would be great! thanks!

The first subnet is correct. The second subnet should be 172.116.64.1 - 172.116.127.254. You probably got it write, the above 172.116.127.154 looks like a typo, isn't it?
