ASA 5505 DMZ and Routed Block was created by blacksunshine
Hello, when we switched ISP's they did not give us what we requested, 16 static ips, they gave us 3 statics and 13 routed....the routed block points to one of the statics....that static is .4, I have .5 and .6 statics being parsed off alongside the .4 asa5505 via a gigabit switch...would like to leave those two alone...
behind the .4 is a /25 network
vlan1 is the inside consisting of 0/1-0/6
vlan2 is the outside consisting of 0/0
dmz is the dmz and not used currently consisting of 0/7
what I am wanting to do is to supplant one of the routed ip's that is supposed to be routed to the .4 to the dmz, heck, I would like to route the 13 routed ip's to that dmz and then, theoretically I could hang things off the inside of that...if I wanted...currenty I just want to use it as a, somewhat, wide open connection for visiting customers/clients but to keep them off our internal network...
in theory this should work fine, but I just don't know how to or the terminology to get it done...it is probably simple as pie but when I don't know something, other brain cells stop working....
HELP!
